Been a long time since I've played, but if I recall correctly, the Choker has a counter to how many cards have been played. It would be a pretty easy to see if you get into this situation again.
I don't believe I misunderstood you. I also main a BM hunter, have since vanilla. And yes that's common practice (even when I've been camping, moving on when someone is already at a spot), what I'm saying is that there's no "right" to that spot. It's common practice and respect, but there are jerks in the world. Sending a message would more likely end up having the other person kill the spawn than moving on. People are petty.
While I share your pain about camping rare spawn pets, I've hunted many pets in my lifetime, and call me a cynic, but if someone else is also looking for that pet, what gives you more privileges than them? That said, this dude helps people out with server hopping and getting them. twitch.tv/hunterofrares I'm not affiliated with them, but they have helped me before.
@Betydlig did you try toggling your display settings as suggested? It could have still been something with the changes of that recently with a steam update and not an OS update.
Did you recently upgrade to Ventura? Your image is showing that it's a 3360x1908 pixels (Which for small text is on par if it's being forced down to a 15 in screen making it almost unreadable). Check your display settings and see what the setting is for scale. Steam is likely respecting what you have set there. And there's a chance the upgrade "reset" your display settings. So it could be as simple as adjusting it to something else and then adjusting back.
As I mentioned in another comment, other stats such as strength contribute to your total damage. Points from other pieces of gear will also affect that calculation. Enchants, gems, etc. Warriors have a battle cry ability that buffs their attack power as well, all those other little buffs factor into your total damage. Your character also has a base range without a weapon too (for example if you punch an enemy [without a weapon equipped] with other pieces of gear on, you'll still do damage). That base damage range goes up as you level because your other stats go up too.
