When in a dialogue in Genshin Impact, one can either press mouse buttons or press F to proceed the text.

But when it comes to a dialogue option where you got one or more options to choose from, is there any key to choose an option? picture of a dialogue option

Sadly, no. Tested this myself by hitting every key on my keyboard during a dialog with choices.

  • I tested it as well (before I asked) by pressing every key and looking up preferences, but found no key either. Unfortunately. But upon further looking, many actions arent mapped to keys. Commented Sep 21, 2021 at 7:43

I was annoyed by this problem so much that I made a program specifically for this - to be able to scroll and select dialog options with anything (by using mouse wheel and keyboard). It's called Aurora Dialog Enhancer.

Hopefully someone will actually find this useful besides me, because it's just become many times more convenient to play GI.

You can check it on GitHub: https://github.com/DigitalE4rth/AuroraDialogEnhancer

  • Coders assemble! This is a huge part of why I learned programming, very cool to see it used like this. Commented Jun 23 at 1:39

There is actually a way to choose and that's by holding down alt so your cursor appears, then moving the cursor over the option you want then clicking it- it's the only way I can see and the only one I use. Hope this helps :)

This doesn't answer the OPs question. They wanted to be able to choose with the keyboard, instead of having to use the mouse. Commented Jun 23 at 1:41
  • I don't think you understood. This isn't with a mouse, it's with a keyboard. Do you think mouses have "alt" on it? And also, the not being unable to choose between options is a problem that occurs even with a mouse.

And so you move the cursor with the keyboard as well? I'm sure Daemons knows there's no Alt on a mouse, but assumes you then take over with the mouse, which would mean this is still not a proper answer.
