How do I upgrade to the gatling gun?
Ah ok! Now I now where to look for next time, thank's. The longbowman page could be improved by specifying on which version of the game it upgrades to Gatling gun and should always have the default upgrade to for the basic game.

Confirmed, I was able to attack at range 3. When I tried I was probably behind a hill. I will edit the question title to remove the word bug.

Oh I see, so indeed the unit needs to be promoted. Does that mean other range unit does not have this particular promotion available?

I edit my question and added a snap shot of the Rationalism tree. As you can see they do not match!

Exactly! If I look at the tree in the game and the one you are showing me, they are not the same! Free thought is under Securalism and not Humanism! (Sovergnty is under Humanism). Also I encountered another bug when I choose Commerce Policy (since I wasn't able to select Free Thought), I lost all policies already gained in the rationalism tree (Humanism and Secularism)!!!
